Dj Nernada

Nernada, ook bekend als Nabila Ernada, is een in Rotterdam gevestigde mediakunstenaar en design onderzoeker die werkt met film, geluid en installaties.

Ze verkent de politiek van luisteren en zichtbaarheid, met een focus op postkoloniaal en feministisch verzet in Indonesië. In haar recente werk remixt ze media-infrastructuren, archieven en geluid. Muzikaal gezien is ze de helft van het dj-duo Touching Feelings, waar leftfield bass en luchtige ambient texturen samenkomen in meditatieve chaos.

Nernada aka Nabila Ernada is a Rotterdam-based media artist and design researcher working across film, sound, and installation. Her practice explores the politics of listening and visibility, focusing on postcolonial and feminist resistance in Indonesia. Her recent works remixes media infrastructures, archives, and sound. Musically, she is one half of the DJ duo Touching Feelings, where leftfield bass and airy ambient textures meet in meditative chaos.
