In Dialogue Season 2

In Dialogue is a talent-scouting media platform where emerging young talent introduces themselves to the Dutch arts and culture sector, as well as to enthusiasts.

In a series of interviews, curator and program maker Claudio Ritfeld engages in conversation with young artists who demonstrate exceptional talent.
While many media outlets focus on interviewing “successful” or “established” artists, it is the ambition of CBK Zuidoost to bring final-year students or recent graduates to the table.

The concept of this podcast is to invite the guest back to the table several years after the first conversation for a reflective interview.
In the second conversation, starting from 2028, answers from the first interview will be revisited.
In this way, CBK Zuidoost remains in dialogue with the artist or maker regarding the developments in their career and artistic practice.

Season 2:

Episode 1: Gabriella Okoobo: Living Between Two Worlds

Gabriella Okoobo (1997) is a documentary photographer and visual artist with Nigerian roots. Her work exists at the intersection of personal and collective memory, migration, and cultural identity. Her work also explores how movement and (dis)attachment shape our sense of belonging. Using a research-oriented approach, she utilizes self-portraits, performance, and mixed media to explore these themes and create layered meanings.
