CBK Southeast joins cultural boycott Israel

CBK Southeast has joined the cultural boycott Israel movement. This means boycotting the Israeli state and all Israeli institutions and companies until Israel stops committing war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide against the Palestinian people. Of course, with the exception of organizations that are not complicit and/or have spoken out against the above crimes.

We join because we believe that a cultural boycott can help put pressure on the Israeli government and because by doing so we also express our solidarity with the victims of Israeli oppression of and violence against Palestinians.

To quote the words on the Cultural Boycott Israel site, “This boycott is not a decision taken lightly. The cultural sector is built on the belief that artistic exchange makes the world a better place or at least does no harm. However, there can be no business as usual: impunity must end.”
