Work by 'Sensory' artists in the gift shop

The current exhibition Sensory Connection showcases the work of five artists. Works by four of them are now also available for purchase in our gift shop.
Ceramic objects, scented textiles, meaningful alabaster, and a ‘travelogue’. These unique works have recently become available for purchase at the CBK Zuidoost shop. They were created by Pedro Matias, Azzurra Ruimschotel, Sjoerd Schunselaar, and Mariëlle Videler, all of whom are participating in the current multisensory exhibition.
Pedro Matias, who has an interactive installation in the exhibition space, created portable, colorful objects for the gift shop. Azzurra Ruimschotel’s scented textile art is also available in a smaller format on our shop shelves. Sjoerd Schunselaar, who exhibits tactile alabaster art, has created smaller, meticulously engraved natural stone tiles, and a small booklet of drawings is available from Mariëlle Videler, who created the stunning textile pillars.
On Sunday, May 3, there will be another additional, free workshop for everyone. During this workshop, the senses will be central, just as in our current exhibition Sensory Imagination.
