Bims Art Library - New Arrivals
Kunstenaars
CBK Zuidoost regularly adds new artworks to the lending collection, also known as Bims Art Library. Last year, we showcased recent acquisitions in the Zandkasteel under the name Bims Art Gallery. This year, we want to give our audience a voice in selecting the art that will be added to our collection.
In this exhibition, held in our own presentation space, we are displaying recent acquisitions and works that may become part of the Bims Art Library collection. The public will determine which of the unselected works will be purchased.
Come and visit from March 1 to April 5 to help us decide.

We strive to make visual arts accessible to a wide audience with our collection by lending artworks for a modest fee. The collection is characterized by interculturality, the identity of Amsterdam Zuidoost, and works by both established names and emerging artists.
In the upcoming exhibition in our gallery space on Anton de Komplein, new acquisitions by artists including Brian Elstak, Maikel Deekman and Bonnie Severien, Stephen Tayo, Rossel Chaslie, Lars Bogaers (a.k.a. SNARS), Bo Wen, Finn Godwin, Monika Dahlberg, and Halimatu Iddrissu will be on display.
We are also showcasing art that we are considering adding to the collection. We are giving visitors of CBK Zuidoost the opportunity to help decide. Simply indicate which works you would like to see in our collection, and at the end of the exhibition, the works with the most votes win. You can vote for artworks by Danielle Lemaire, Rob Regeer, Loes Leatemia, Eduardo Rojo, Rinella Alfonso, and Janneke Stofmeel.
These winners will be exhibited on the back wall of our art library during 24H Zuidoost on Saturday, April 12.
